I recall a case years ago with a very good friend of mine. I completed a no medical exam life insurance form for him. I believe the amount of insurance he wanted then was $250,000. When I got to a the question where they ask if he was a citizen or a legal permanent resident of the United States he replied that he was neither. His wife had no visa either but he had 2 children born in this country and he owned a home.
